NEWSFLASH!!!
EB Fisher Unplugged has launched!
Check it out Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-8AM at twitch.tv/ebfisherunplugged.
It's "Flashback" with a kick! There's a live chat room, so you can say "hi" to me -- and meet others eager to start the day off right!
See you there!
Of course, I hope you always join me for "Flashback Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays"! It's three hours of upbeat oldies -- with a few twists -- 6-9 AM on 89.1 WFDU-FM . . . or wfdu.fm . . . or iHeart Radio . . . or on the WFDU app . . . really, we're EVERYWHERE! And because we are a listener-supported station, we owe it all to YOU! Thank you!
E.B. Fisher has been at WFDU-FM since 1992 -- first as host of the long-running, very popular "Nothin’ But the Blues." Join her now for the "Flashback" shows, part of the station's new Retro Radio every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6-9AM. And check out her new "EB Fisher Unplugged" on Twitch at twitch.tv/ebfisheruplugged. We hope you agree -- both are a great way to start your day!
Raised on songs from the 30s and 40s, with ten years of classical piano education, E.B.’s musical interests are all over the map. Her generation was influenced by the music of late-70's/early-80's, and hosting the program introduced her to the blues.
Outside of the station, E.B.’s hobbies include swimming, waterskiing, sailing and playing the piano. She is active in her community and is a member of several organizations and charities. However, her most consuming -- and rewarding -- role is that of "Mom." E.B. and her husband have a son and daughter - and three dogs!
E.B. has long been fascinated by the possibilities of radio and is always exploring its many wonderful qualities. She especially likes that radio -- unlike any other medium -- compels the listener to create a picture of what is occurring on the other side of the box. It's entertaining and, at times, very funny. Her favorite program is the “Christmas Show,” which features her kids, Sam and Max. Her daughter debuted with her rendition of “Santa Baby” when she was 4 years old -- and it seems like just yesterday!
